Public administration is the bedrock of government, where decisions that affect citizens are made. You can choose to leave. Or you can also choose to stay and transform how things are done.
From one crisis to another, Lebanon now stands at a crossroads. Yet historically, it built one of the most respected public administrations in the Arab world.
Lebanese public institutions were once centres of excellence and a model for others: the ARZ rocket programme, the National Council for Scientific Research, INACH, the cadastre, and the port of Beirut, which inspired leaders such as Lee Kuan Yew in the development of Singapore’s port.
Let’s revive this tradition! Let’s reclaim the State – our State.
